Fall Baseball Updates

Juniors fall baseball, in conjunction with Chandler National LL, will announce teams and begin practices this week. Coaches will be reaching out to players and their families.

Our friends at Tempe South Little League will run the fall baseball program this year for Majors, Minors and a separate set of clinics for players ages 5 - 8.

For the fall, we have a limited number of player spots available. Please don't wait till the last minute to register!

For league ages 9-10-11-12, registration is now open. Fees are $100/player.

Teams are announced on 9/20. Practices start 9/23 and games from 10/18 through 12/6. Teams will have 1 midweek practice, an optional Saturday practice and 1 Friday night game per week. We expect that players will be involved in other sports and activities, so coaches are advised to plan for less than perfect attendance. Depending on the number of teams, we might add the occasional Wednesday night game as well.

Games and practices will be at Bloomquist Field (TSC), Mantei Field (Broadway & Hardy) or Gonzo Field (Rio Salado & Mill). Some games will be at Stottlemyre Field (Baseline & Priest) with our partners at Tempe Guadalupe Little League.

Ages 5-8: Clinics will be at Bloomquist Field on Thursday nights, October 24, November 7 & 14. Advance registration is needed (nominal fee). Start times will be announced on tempesouth.com in early October.

What division should you register for?
Born on or after 9/1/2011 = league age 8 or younger. Three clinics
Born between 9/1/2009 - 8/31/2011 = league age 9 & 10.  Minors division (introductory kid pitch).
Born between 9/1/2007 - 8/31/2009 = league age 11 & 12.  Majors division. All players ages 11 & 12 will be placed in fall Majors division. This will give them a chance to play with players their age and gauge their readiness for this division in the more competitive spring season. Requests to play "down" in Minors will not be considered for the fall.
